In October 2025, on the occasion of the 44th edition of HostMilano, the leading international trade fair dedicated to the hospitality and catering industry, Goldplast presented its exhibition booth, built using polycarbonate sheets supplied by PolyPiù. The installation, entirely designed to be dismantled and reused at subsequent fairs until 2028, exemplifies a virtuous model of circular design applied to the events sector.
A leading Italian manufacturer of high-end tableware and drinkware, Goldplast chose PolyPiù’s polycarbonate solutions to enhance plastic as a noble and sustainable material, overturning its traditional perception as a “cheap” substance and highlighting its aesthetic, technological, and environmental potential.
The collaboration between the two companies stems from a shared vision of the circular economy: both operate in the polymer sector and promote an approach focused on reuse, recycling, and waste reduction.
The PolyPiù polycarbonate sheets, selected for their high mechanical performance, versatility, and premium finish, made it possible to create a refined, luminous exhibition space perfectly aligned with Goldplast’s identity.
The material was used to build lightweight, easily assembled, and fully reversible walls and volumes, thanks to its ability to combine structural solidity with visual lightness. All components were designed with recovery and reinstallation in mind, to eliminate waste and minimize environmental impact in a sector—trade show installations—traditionally marked by a high degree of material dispersion.
Highly appreciated by visitors at Host 2025, the Goldplast booth authentically conveyed the value of plastic as a renewable resource, demonstrating how innovation and sustainability can coexist in a sophisticated, functional, and responsible exhibition language. This achievement once again confirms PolyPiù’s ability to put the versatility and design of polycarbonate at the service of projects that combine aesthetic research and environmental commitment.
