Effective 1 December 2025, PolyPiù has acquired the business unit of SEP – Società Europea Plastica, an Italian company with over fifty years of experience in the production of polycarbonate panels.
This integration is based on mutual respect and aims to preserve the identity, product range and prestige of the SEP brand, which will therefore continue to be fully operational.
A technical legacy that continues to evolve
Founded in Volano (TN) in 1972, SEP has contributed over the years to making polycarbonate a material of excellence for the construction industry.
The brand’s Seplux systems, made of 100% polycarbonate and characterised by special joints, a variety of thicknesses and formats, a wide range of colours and the possibility of integration with lighting systems, are now considered a benchmark solution for architects, installers and contractors. The experience gained in decades of collaboration with design studios, combined with the application support offered by the SEP Technical Office, has transformed a lightweight material into a construction system with multiple expressive and functional possibilities, both in new applications and in the redevelopment of existing structures.
The integration between PolyPiù and SEP now makes it possible to combine expertise, expand production capacity and territorial coverage, and create new opportunities for designers, installers and supply chain partners.
