PolyPiù InForma

From material to form: PolyPiù’s new journey with Marco Piva Studio

For every company, there comes a time when experimentation meets maturity.

For PolyPiù, that time is now. After years of industrial growth, international consolidation and constant research into materials, we have chosen to explore a new horizon: that of form, light and the visual identity of spaces.

This has led to a collaboration between our Design Department and
Studio Marco Piva
. A natural meeting of minds, based on shared visions and a passion for innovation, aimed at rewriting the role of polycarbonate in interior design: from technical material to narrative element, from functional solution to aesthetic component. With this prestigious partnership, PolyPiù’s Design Department presents itself as a creative platform for architects, designers and brands looking for tailor-made solutions for retail, hospitality and exhibitions.

This journey has also been made possible thanks to the strategic contribution of
MC International
, under the guidance of Marisa Corso, who brought this synergy to fruition. We would like to thank everyone involved for their excellent contribution: we look forward to sharing the first results of this journey with you.

The collaboration between Marco Piva and PolyPiù was born with the aim of redefining the perception of polycarbonate, bringing a technical and high-performance material to a new aesthetic and design dimension.

PolyPiù and Marco Piva share a common vision: to go beyond the traditional use of polycarbonate and give it a central role in interior design and architecture.

Through research into lightness, transparency and the ability to interact with light, the partnership aims to enhance the image of polycarbonate and open up new application possibilities in the retail, hospitality and industrial sectors, offering innovative and visually striking solutions characterised by aesthetic innovation and expressive and functional versatility. The challenge is to transform a technical material, recognised for its lightness and transparency, into a key element of architectural and design language, capable of generating emotional spaces.

Through research into new formal and perceptual applications, polycarbonate becomes for Marco Piva a means of interacting with light, amplifying space and defining new experiences.

“With PolyPiù, we explore the possibility of giving polycarbonate a new role: from a lightweight, transparent material used mainly for technical purposes to a creative tool capable of generating new atmospheres and ideas in architectural projects, from retail to hospitality to industrial spaces.”
